Change of TEUPEN’s management board

Alfons Thihatmer is going to assign his responsibilities within the management board to Michael Wotschke and will resign from the TEUPEN group management on his own initiative by the end of 2010.

Alfons Thihatmer has been TEUPEN’S Executive Director since 1986. To this day, he significantly formed and organized the company’s development - starting with the manufacture of access platforms to now being the global market leader of access platforms on crawler chassis with the model “LEO”. The resignation of Alfons Thihatmer as well as the handover of his responsibilities to a successor had already been declared in 2007, when he and the former Executive Director Andreas Grochowiak sold TEUPEN’s majority share to the “NORD Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungs GmbH”.

However, Mr. Thihatmer will continue to stay closely connected to TEUPEN as consultant and shareholder. According to the information given by the company, Mr. Thihatmer is still going to play an important role within the organization; especially regarding the development of products.

TEUPEN Maschinenbau GmbH, domiciled in Gronau, Germany and also owning a subsidiary in charlotte, NC, USA, is the global market leader of access platforms.

Frank Rosin joins Teupen International

Frank Rosin, recognized as an expert within height-access-technology sector, started to work for Teupen International. He is now to be found in Gronau and is going to be responsible for the area of North Rhine-Westphalia. Mr. Rosin has previously been working for the Mateco AG in Essen. As the branch’s manager his main focus was centred on the support service of key accounts. Due to the fact that Teupen’s LEO access platforms have been a significant part of Mateco’s rental fleet for more than 10 years, Mr. Rosin already promoted a long-term and successful business relationship with Teupen International.

The decision to join Teupen, made by Mr Frank Rosin due to strategic reasons, proved to be the right choice in retrospect. The main reasons to change companies were the simple and well-arranged handling as well as the excellent quality and the machine’s operating efficiency.
